Discover the Landscape of Light, a World Heritage Site in Madrid

En el Paisaje de la Luz is an App that will help you get to know first-hand twelve places in the Paisaje de la Luz, the surroundings of the Paseo del Prado and the Retiro in the city of Madrid. And it is that this place has entered the UNESCO World Heritage list in July 2021.

Through the App you will be able to choose one of the twelve proposed destinations that you will reach by geolocation. When you arrive at each one of them you will be able to listen to an audio in which the writer, disseminator and Planet Award winner, Javier Sierra talks with the "walkers of light" to discover the secrets that each destination hides. The application is also available in Spanish sign language to make it accessible to people with hearing disabilities. Become a light walker!

Javier Sierra is a writer and journalist, co-founder of the monthly magazine Año Cero in 1990, director of the magazine Más Allá de la Ciencia for seven years, as well as presenter and director of radio and television spaces in Spain, now he invests his time in researching Arcanes of History and write about them. He has printed very popular titles, including The Secret Dinner (published in 43 countries), The Blue Lady (published in another 20), The Forbidden Route, The Templar Doors, The Lost Angel, The Master of the Prado (which was best-selling Spanish fiction in 2013), The Immortal Pyramid or the 2017 Planet Novel Award, El Fuego Invisible.

In addition to his best-known books, Javier Sierra's work extends to countless articles in the press, small booklets or works for bibliographic collectors.

He also made the guide The Stairs to Heaven. Cosmic Guide of the Community of Madrid, and now collaborates with the Madrid City Council to create this APP: En el Paisaje de la Luz with Javier Sierra.
