EKEDP Resource Mobile

Application for EKEDP resources to respond and manage assigned work orders

The EKEDC Resource Manager Mobile application allows EKEDC Resource persons to carry out related operations for customers. Resource persons are able to perform the following operations via the app:

1. Login: users are able to login using their email address and password.

2. Work Orders: users are able view work orders assigned to them. The work orders page is built with the following functionalities:

i. Filtering: users are able to filter work orders using Queue Types, Queue Type Statuses, Ticket ID, Meter and Account numbers respectively.

ii. Pagination: a given number of work orders is fetched upon startup and as users scroll to the bottom of the app, more work orders are loaded from the server if they exist.

iii. Work Order Details: users are able to view the details of a work order such as Update history, billing history, payment history, remarks, inventories requested by the work order and more.

iv. Users are able to request fresh inventories for the work order.

v. Users are able to attach files to the work order.

3. Revenue Calculator: users are able to calculate customer estimated bills via the app. The results of these calculations show either revenue losses or adjustments respectively. Based on the result, the customer is then advised on a given course of action.

4. Load Inventory: users are able to add, view, update and delete appliances for a given customer. From the total number of appliances, the estimated power consumption and tariffs are calculated respectively.

5. Meter Reading: resource persons are able to submit meter readings for a customer via the app.

6. Offline meter reading: resource persons are able to collect meter reading values and submit via SMS shortcodes in times when the network connection might be poor or unavailable.

7. Change password: users are able to change their password for login purposes.

8. Logout: resource persons are able to logout of the mobile app as needed.
