The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) with its more than 3,000 employees is the largest biomedical research institute in Germany. Over 1,000 scientists conduct research at the DKFZ on the subject of cancer in order to improve the chances of cancer patients. The DKFZ is a member of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres.
