About e-voir

e-voir, the application of your GeniSS / Cow-Start tool.

The e-voir application is a unique solution for the management of the heifer workshop thanks to the personalization of the parameters according to the behavior of the heifers and the set objectives (examples: age at weaning, age at calving, etc.). The application specifically supports the breeder in the management of heifers by integrating specific actions such as measuring the quality of the colostrum, weighing, and declaring weaning. Following calving, the breeder will be able to record the quality of the colostrum measured on his application. In addition, the colostrum entry function indicates the volume to be dispensed according to the recorded quality. The purpose of the application is to facilitate batch management: make small batches in the nursery and gradually merge them. Everything is editable to be suitable for the operation.

The weekly actions dashboard is an essential function for running the heifer workshop on a daily basis. It helps guide the breeder in the actions to be carried out such as dehorning, weaning and growth monitoring. It also helps to lead the reproduction of heifers by signaling the right time for reproduction, AI returns to monitor and pregnancy diagnosis. The integration of heifers into the dairy herd to carry out the calving preparation is also proposed. These notifications are customizable so as not to overload breeders with information.

Together, the GeniSS / Cow-Start application supports the breeder in the daily management of feed. The application allows you to save the feeding plan for heifers from 0 to 6 months old. Thus, the breeder has the milk plan and the ration of a batch of heifers on hand at all times and will be informed of the transitions to be made when it is opportune to start them. The milk plan can be chosen from models available that adapt to practices or it can be created and personalized as for 0-6 month food.

The GeniSS / Cow-Start application enables growth monitoring by taking an objective and immediate look at performance by automatically calculating growth indicators (GMQ, GMTP, etc.) and by visual indicators. To go further in the valuation of the data entered, the "balance sheet" function provides a complete analysis of the workshop. The report makes it possible to identify the optimization margins of the heifer workshop and to compare oneself with the users of the application.

The application is designed for quick setup because from the first connection, the farm account contains information about the herd. It fully adapts to the daily life of breeders because the internet connection is not essential for the proper use of the application. Daily synchronization is necessary for updating the database. However, once the synchronization is complete, the application can work offline. The farm account is available on the various phones of the farm associates and the technician. Visits can be done at the same time with the same level of information.
