e-TUIS

This application is one of the modules implemented in the e-TUIS System.

The e-TUIS system is a web-based system that enables the Trade Union to work fully online with the Trade Union Affairs Department (JHEKS). The system also seeks to generate statistical reports to meet client and stakeholder needs.

Among the Main Objective The systems developed are: -

i. Provides an open and flexible (real time basis) work process delivery system to meet operational requirements and management processes with multi-user access;

ii. Providing centralized information systems for the effective management and distribution of information and data, accurate statistical reports and reliability on stakeholders;

iii. Replace manual work such as registration application process, regulatory amendment, approval / declaration to full online electronic system; and

iv. Generate information centrally and based on paper cuts in line with government initiatives in creating Paperless Government (Green ICT).

The advantages of the e-TUIS System are: -

a) Integrate data and information on Trade Unions comprehensively

b) Updating data and information on Trade Unions electronically and online in line with the emphasis of the self-governance concept

c) Able to handle Department activities with efficient work processes compared to conventional work processes in line with technology development and globalization era to ensure the Department remains relevant

d) Applications are more straightforward and fast
