About Dog Food Recipes - Homemade Do

The Healthy Delicious Homemade Dog Food Cookbook App has recipes for all dogs

Your dog is a member of the family and you want him to eat just as well and healthily as you do. Don't make the mistake of assuming you can just feed your dog whatever you're eating, though. Dogs have different nutritional needs than people, so you'll need to understand what makes a balanced diet for your pet. Once you understand that nutritional balance, start making and feeding your dog delicious home-cooked meals.

It includes vegetarian, gluten-free and special occasion dog food recipes, BARF diet advice, general dog health and nutritional considerations, including what you should never feed your dog to keep it happy and healthy.

Check out the recipes for diabetic dogs, dogs with heart conditions, food sensitivities and allergies, and learn how to make tasty dog biscuits, stews, fishcakes, cinnamon apple crisps, dehydrated food, christmas and thanksgiving dog food recipes, and many more recipes your dog will absolutely love. This book will even show you how to make natural shampoo and conditioner for your best pal.

Written by a chef and dog-lover, the "Beg Worthy" recipes in this cookbook will have them beggin' for more!

Every good dog deserves to be spoiled. This book goes out to all the loyal companions out there that give so much but don't expect much in return - only love, and hopefully, some tasty food! - Charlie Fox

Understand the difference between the diet of your dog and a dog in the wild. Yes, wolves or wild dogs can survive in the wild without balanced meals. But, their average lifespan is considerably shorter. They also eat very differently than your dog is used to. While you might feed your dog pure protein, dogs in the wild eat organs like kidney, liver, brain, and the contents of the guts. This makes for a more complex nutrition than simply feeding meat (protein) and rice (carbohydrate) from the store.

If you feed your dog an unbalanced home prepared diet, it can take years for the problems to appear. This is because it's the micro-nutrition (vitamins and minerals) that are probably lacking, instead of the calories.

For example, a dog might do fine for weeks or years, but some time later the dog may get a fractured leg because of long term calcium deficiency in his diet.

Why You Should Make Your Own Dog Food

If that story wasn’t enough for you, there are many other reasons to ditch the bag and make your own dog food.

Homemade Dog Food Recipes

I know that was a lot of information and you’re probably overwhelmed. But really all you need to do is pick a diet plan and then choose a recipe that you like from the list we’ve compiled.

Many of these meals can fit into multiple categories (like a grain free puppy food that can be made in a crockpot) so be sure to scan through them all.

If you like this Application please consider leaving a positive review and/or rating for it in the store.
