About DiagnosisHelp

Meant for HCPs who suspect a patient has a lysosomal storage disorder

The DiagnosisHelp app is meant for health care professionals (HCP) who suspect a patient of having a Lysosomal Storage Disorder or are interested to learn more about these diseases. The app contains over 90 symptoms, which can be related to one of the Lysosomal Storage diseases.

There are three ways of navigating through the app; body view, per category and list view. Through either of these methods a selection can be made of those symptoms that are relevant to the patient or disease. After pressing “Diagnose” the app will display a selection of Lysosomal Storage Diseases, ranked by the highest probability based on the selected symptoms.

By selecting on of the diseases, a complete over is displayed, including symptoms, pictures and literature. To confirm a possible diagnosis, links to the nearest testing centers are provided to apply for further biochemical genetic testing.

*This diagnostic tool is to be used by registered medical practitioners only*
