About Diabetes diary, glucose, insulin monitor

Blood pressure, diabetes diary, logbook, pill reminder. Digital medical history

Assemble your organised medical history timeline on the web from your personal health records on mobile. Always be perfectly prepared for your next doctor's visit with lab results, weight diary, blood pressure diary and diabetes diary in your pocket.

It's a hassle to collect all your personal health records when you go to visit your doctor. This is why we developed a new feature in Laborom: medical records.

Patients with chronic diseases like hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes (blood sugar), and patients who need to visualize and store lab results and case/medication history for their therapy can anonymously upload and gather their measurements by using laborom personalized test result organizer, diary.

With the mobile application users can upload, organize, track and chart medical measurements (eg. Blood pressure, blood sugar), and records of medication, drugs, diabetes diary, logbook. Chart test results to discover trends over time. Wired in up-to-date drugs, meds database with reminder setting option. Also laborom is a diabetes diary, logbook, pill reminder for smartwatches, and android wear. Blood pressure.

Keeping tabs on diabetes

Everyone with diabetes knows that keeping a logbook with your blood glucose level, insulin intake and tracking your carbs is not an option: it’s a must. With a diary of your diabetes measurements you can speculate the impact of the food you eat and the insulin you take. Using pen-and-paper methods is troublesome, inconvenient and oftentimes inaccurate in forecasting your blood glucose level or the units of insulin you need to take. Using laborom diabetes diary and blood pressure logbook you can throw away your old notebook and use the device that is always at hand to track and log your vital measurements. See the trends view to check how certain activities affect your blood glucose level and make educated decisions about the next insulin intake or food you eat. Set up pill and activity reminders so that you will never forget to take a pill or upload your next glucose level measurement.

What is blood pressure?

When your heart beats, it pumps blood round your body to give it the energy and oxygen it needs. As the blood moves, it pushes against the sides of the blood vessels. The strength of this pushing is your blood pressure. If your blood pressure is too high, it puts extra strain on your arteries (and your heart) and this may lead to heart attacks and strokes. Tracking your blood pressure in a logbook is essential to monitor your condition.

What do the numbers mean?

Every blood pressure logbook reading consists of two numbers or levels. They are shown as one number on top of the other. The first number is your systolic blood pressure. It is the highest level your blood pressure reaches when your heart beats. The second (or bottom) number is your diastolic blood pressure. It is the lowest level your blood pressure reaches as your heart relaxes between beats.

Before Checking Your Blood Pressure

Find a quiet place to check your blood pressure. You will need to listen for your heartbeat.

Make sure that you are comfortable and relaxed with a recently emptied bladder (a full bladder may affect your reading). Roll up the sleeve on your arm or remove any tight-sleeved clothing. Your arm should rest comfortably at heart level. Sit up straight with your back against the chair, legs uncrossed. Rest your forearm on the table with the palm of your hand facing up. Measure your blood pressure.
