Air brush is a technique used to create paintings with different tools. The stages in making the airbrush are the first set up tools, then provide sketches and colors to adjust the color composition of the sketch.

The tools needed in airbrush painting are:

Air Compressor. Compressor tool is useful to spray the wind to paint air brush. The type needed by a painter is a compressor with a power of 1/2 PK or a portable compressor. An alternative to the compressor is a foot pump, then stored on an empty gas cylinder. The cylinder is pumped with a foot pump, and switched on when needed.

Pen. Pen tool is a tool for painting used by water brush painter.

Paint. Materials to be filled in to the pen. Airbrush has its own kind in making painting, the end result of painting will be different according to paint made.

Thinner. The thinner tool is used not to remove the painting in case of error, but to give effect "thin" to the painting. Thinner also helps to clean up the dirty parts after painting.

Fixative. When finished painting, fixative can be used to make paint become durable, and not changeable. Its function is to preserve the quality of the paintings that have been made.

Stickers or papers. Water brush paint often spreads so irregularly that it requires a barrier to prevent unwanted things. The use of paper and stickers can be a masking to control the direction of the paint out. The point is to make the paint more neat and orderly.

Once all the tools are available next is to prepare the concept idea in designing the airbrush sketch that will be used later. The sketches are depicted using canvas and stationery. If tools and sketches are available, then set the color composition to be used in airbrush application.
