The "Valentin" bunker is one of the most visible legacies of forced labor during National Socialism. Over 10,000 people from all over Europe and North Africa were used in the construction of the bunker between 1943 and 1945. They suffered from the physically hard labor, malnutrition, diseases and violence of the guards.

Today, the "Valentin" bunker is a place of remembrance. With this app, you can learn more about the history of the site. Along the circular route, it offers you eyewitness interviews and other historical material.

The app contains a German and an English version. There is also an audio guide that was developed especially for the needs of children between the ages of 8 and 14.

The individual stations in the outdoor area are started via a GPS signal if you have activated the location services of your mobile device. Inside the bunker, they must be started manually.
