Cottonil قطونيل is an Egyptian Holding Group specializing in the manufacture of underwear and cotton products. It was founded in 1999 by businessman Basel Somakia, and today Cottonil owns over 50% of Egypt’s underwear market.

Cottonil has a wide distribution network that spans over 300 outlets around Egypt. It has also expanded its footprint into the European, Arab, and Middle East markets through its direct outlets and an extensive agent network around the world. The company also has authorized distributors in 12 countries in the Arab region, including UAE, Jordan, KSA, Sudan, Morocco, and others.
