Connect 2 Arun is a communication platform aimed at connecting the Chartered Accountant community in Southern India. Created by CA A V Arun, a Regional Council Member of the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the app offers updates on professional and empanelment opportunities. It also serves as a medium for Chartered Accountants to interact with CA A V Arun, addressing queries and providing information on these opportunities.

About CA A V Arun

CA A V Arun is an experienced professional, being a Fellow Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Registered Valuer, Insolvency Professional, and Qualified Company Secretary with 20 years of experience. He has held various leadership roles within the ICAI, including SICASA Chairman, Treasurer, and Chairman of the Salem Branch. He was elected as a Regional Council Member of SIRC in 2021 and served as Secretary of SIRC in 2023-24.

He served as Chairman of the Branch Coordination Committee and the Committee on Capital Markets and Investor Protection during the year 2022-23. In 2023-24, he chaired the Committee on Public and Government Financial Management as well as the Committee on GST & Indirect Taxes. Currently, he holds the position of Chairman for the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Accounting & Assurance Committee, the Insolvency and Valuation Standards Committee, and the Continuing Professional Education Committee.
