Calculation surveillance colonoscopy post-polypectomy

The COLONCOP application is a tool to help professionals whose objective is to facilitate the correct recommendation on the prevention and surveillance of neoplastic lesions of the colon based on risk criteria and lesions detected in the index colonoscopy. As well as the recommendation of surveillance according to personal and family history of colorectal cancer.

This is an application that has been developed within the Strategic Plan on the management of colorectal neoplasms of the Catalan Society of Digestology and with the support of Dr. Antonio José Hervás Molina, member of the Spanish Association of Gastroenterology, with the ultimate goal of provide clinicians with the correct recommendation of the intervals between surveillance colonoscopies.

The application allows you to select between three clinical practice guidelines:

● Guide of the Spanish Association of Gastroenterology (AEG), Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine (SEMFYC) and Ibero-American Cochrane Center (CCIb); in COLONCOP 2.0, it incorporates the 2018 guide.

● European Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the Detection and Diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer (IARC, International Agency for Research on Cancer); 2012.

● Guide of the Catalan Society of Digestology (SCD); 2016.

The COLONCOP application has the scientific endorsement of the companies: AEG, SEED and SCD.
