View a custom AR video message, or capture your own to send from choosey.com

Visit choosey.com for an incredible range of customisable greeting cards and gifts. The Choosey app enables you to view the augmented reality (AR) video message in your custom greeting card.

If you want to send a custom card, the Choosey app also enables you to capture your very own video message, or even select one of your existing videos.

Once you're done, the app uploads your video message to the Choosey.com site, ready to add to a chosen card design.

Personalised greeting cards will never be the same again!

***** User instructions *****

First, make sure you have your unique Choosey QR code and AR marker to hand.

1. Download and launch the app.

2. Login (or sign up) with your email and password.

3. Home screen:

The home screen provides initial welcome instructions (also accessed through the ‘i’ help menu icon), a logout function (accessed through the ‘cog’ icon) and access to the 2 main features of the app:

- 'AR Viewer'

- ‘Video Capture’

4. Using the ‘AR Viewer’:

- Tap the yellow 'AR Viewer' panel on the home screen.

- Locate and scan the QR code to download the video message.

- Once your video has downloaded, locate the AR marker graphic, to play the video in AR mode. The video appears over the marker, in the real-world space.

5. Using the ‘Video Capture’:

- Tap the green 'Video Capture' panel on the home screen.

- Decide if you‘re filming yourself, or someone else. You can flip the camera view using the button above the record button.

- Position the subject in view, and tap record to start. Tap the same button again to stop recording. The maximum video length is 30 sec.

- Once you finish recording, you can tap the play icon to preview your video. If you're happy, tap 'next' to upload the video, or 'back' to try again.

The Choosey app uses some of the latest mobile technology currently available. To get the very best experience, we recommend using iPhone 5 or later, iPad 3 or later, running iOS 8.1 or later.
