Cell Tower Discovery

Finds GSM, LTE, CDMA and WCDMA cellular towers and discovers their details.

"Cell Tower Discovery" is an application that provides meaningful information about GSM, LTE, WCDMA, and CDMA cellular towers. While the cellphone information can be seen from the settings in an Android device, this app summarizes and displays it for you in a user-friendly way.

One of the advantages of this app is that the collected data can be kept in a cellphone database, but could also be exported/shared as Comma-Separated-Values (CSV) files for further analysis from Excel or Matlab. Available exporting options are Email and Google Drive.

App Main Functionalities

->Shows the cellphone's stats on a single page. For example: Device Model, Android Version, IMEI, Subscriber ID, Carrier Details, Location, GPS Status, and WiFi's Information.

->Tracks cellular towers and their information, e.g. CID, MCC, MNC, Signal type, Strength, etc.

->Locates the discovered towers on a Google Map for easy geographical visualization by just long pressing on the screen.

->Automatically contributes to OpenCellID database by sending the collected towers.

-> Stores the collected data in a local database and also exports it as CSV files for further analysis.

->Features hand-held drive-tests to discover new towers.

->Tab Neighbor towers includes a sample recording timer.

->Tab Tower Coverage Map additionally places markers for the main towers (green icon for the towers the cellphone has been connected to).

->Tab Database of towers, allows exporting all or main towers, also allows deletion of the towers from local database.

NEW-WiFi Access Points: Allows saving, exporting, and deleting the WiFi access points detected by the device.
