Territorial College of Property Administrators of Gipuzkoa and Alava

We are the Territorial College of Property Administrators of Gipuzkoa and Alava a corporation of public law, protected by law and recognized by the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country and the State, with its own legal personality and full capacity to fulfill our purposes, both public and private.

Our genesis is found in the personal initiative of a group of guipuzcoanos peers, back in the seventies, that seeing in our profession of the future, to be legalized figure Property Manager as a professional in the Horizontal Property Act, decided to work together through different phases from belonging to the Trade Union Association of Administrators incorporated into the 'Union various Interests' to belong to the Trade Union Association of Property Administrators constituted the latter with the idea of ​​incorporating those professionally Farms, ie with a regular and habitually engaged in managing urban or rural properties owned by others.

The creation of this National College (Decree 693/68) was a big step for us but it was half as rules on professional associations not yet proved applicable as was assigned to the vertical union and would have to wait until 1977 for the College national Property Administrators stay included within the scope of the legislation of Professional Associations, the disappearance of the Vertical Union, with the Royal Decree 1612/1981 which carried out the college restructuring, separating the Public Administration School Administrators farms, authorizing the establishment of regional Associations of Property Administrators and the General Council of Colleges and the National College disappearing in accordance with the social reality and the territorial division introduced the Constitution of 1978 in Spain.

We can imagine the number of meetings, travel and sleepless nights that those colleagues had to endure up to get our current identity and on the other hand favored the relationships that we now join other colleagues from other Regional Colleges. Thank you for all and for believing in our profession.
