Bursa Art and Vocational Training Courses (BUSMEK) With the principles of Lifelong Learning, to respond to the art and vocational education needs of the people of Bursa, to keep our traditional handicrafts that are about to disappear, to ensure that individuals become a good producer, conscious consumer, to contribute to their cultural and social development, It was established in order to adapt to the culture.
Within the scope of BUSMEK, it is an "adult organization" that has been providing free art and vocational training courses to Bursa citizens as required by the age since 2006 and carried out with non-formal education principles. From BUSMEK, which started out with only 5 course centers in 2006, the number of trainees who have been trained so far has reached 199,016 as of the 2017-2018 academic year. Currently operating in 14 districts of Bursa, BUSMEK, which provides training in 30 different venues and 250 branches, is a "public university". Approximately 25,000 trainees per year benefit from our training.
BUSMEK provides training to our fellow citizens in Bursa on Information Technologies, Child Development and Education, Handicraft Technology, Beauty and Care Services, Clothing Production Technology, Accounting-Finance, Music, Personal Development, Literacy, Sports and Foreign Language. By continuing its services with Merinos, Hürriyet, Başaran, Hocataşkın, Vocational Education, Ladies' Club, Beşevler, Erikli, Kestel, Mudanya, Orhaneli, Orhangazi, İznik, Mustafakemalpaşa, Gemlik, Ertuğrul Course Centers and Social Education Center, it increases its quality day by day.
In addition to art and vocational training, services that support and complement the education process are among the important activities of BUSMEK. These free services; exhibitions and fairs, seminars, publications, sales of trainee products, workshop activities, competitions, symposiums, etc. are activities. Apart from the trainings, which are the field of activity of BUSMEK, such studies are also carried out within the scope of adult education.
