The Bible is the Christian Bible, and it is the book of God's Word.
In the Bible, the books written before the birth of Jesus Christ are called the Old Testament, and the books written after the birth of Christ are called the New Testament. The Old Testament contains 39 books. The New Testament contains 27 books. The Roman Catholic Bible contains 23 apocryphaes, including 46 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament. The Greek and Russian Orthodox monasteries also accepted other Bible texts.
The Bible was translated into Burmese by Greek and Hebrew missionary Adonian Judson. It is the only Bible in use today.
