Our love for the world of Theater Arts education is based on the fact and our own experience that this lesson opens students' eyes to an unlimited world of imagination and also, simultaneously, introduces them to the real world which is limited by space and time and influenced by the dynamics of emotions, rules. , value, and meaning.

When taught in the context of formal education, its integration with other concepts and lessons allows students to become complete, confident humans and have an impact on those around them. Realizing how significant the role we play gives us pleasure and passion to this day.

Since we accepted the call to write, what we have imagined is how to share this pleasure with fellow educators who read this book through descriptions in a very limited number of words. The writing time of approximately six months was filled with various research, discussions, revisions and changes here and there to ensure that this book could be implemented in various school contexts in Indonesia.

Hopefully this book can spark theater learning that is fun, meaningful, and beneficial for the lives of teachers and students who do it.

We are grateful for the opportunity provided by the Curriculum and Book Center, Research and Development and Book Agency, Ministry of Education and Culture. We also appreciate the input from the reviewers in writing this book.
