Budapest, the capital of Hungary is one of the most culturally important metropolises in Eastern Europe. Straddling the River Danube, Budapest is famous for its thermal springs, some of which have been used for therapeutic purposes since prehistory. Budapest has so many things to do that you will want to spend at least a few days exploring the city. To move easily you can use Budapest metro. The whole underground network is divided into four main lines, represented by their own colour:

M1 - (yellow)

M2 - (red)

M3 - (blue)

M4 - (green)
