Birds in English for kids

Fun games help kids to learn names of birds in English.

This app helps kids to learn names of birds in English and memorize them through interactive games.

On the start screen you see pictures of birds. When you tap a bird, there appears a photo of the bird and its name sounds. A tick appears next to the picture and in the main menu to show that the child is acquainted with the bird’s name. When you tap the bird a second time, you hear the sound that this bird makes.

The app has three games.

☻FLASHCARDS game teaches kids to recognize birds by their names in English. The child hears the name of a bird and chooses one of 4 flashcards. If the choice is correct, the circle at the top of the screen turns green. If the choice is wrong, the circle turns red.

☻BIRD SILHOUETTES game teaches kids to match the picture and its silhouette. If the choice is correct, the English name of the bird sounds. One round of the game lasts 1 minute.

☻The FIND THE BIRD game teaches kids to identify the bird among three different ones. Sound effects mark right and wrong choices. There are 2 seconds for each attempt. One round of the game lasts 1 minute.
