Audio guides on the Marsberg bionics trail for the visually impaired and for children

With the app for the Marsberg bionics path, you receive two audio guides that accompany you acoustically at each station. One guide supports visually impaired or blind visitors in experiencing the stations. In the second guide, young visitors to the bionics path can experience little stories with the salamander Sammy and his friends, which always also include bionics.

Bionics means learning from nature. In bionics, principles from nature are transferred to technology. Well-known examples of this are the Velcro fastener or the lotus effect.

The Marsberg Bionics Path in the Diemelsee Nature Park invites you to get to know bionics along the beautiful Padberg 2 hiking trail. The distance is 4.8 km (pure hiking time about 90 minutes). People of all ages can experiment, play and be amazed at 8 stations. And the use of the stations is of course free of charge!

Just follow the signs "P2" and discover stations on topics such as climbing, flippers, hearing or flying seeds in the midst of the beauty of the nature park. At each station you will find the most important information and a small guide on an information board. But of course you can also just try it yourself.

Because the most important thing when discovering is curiosity!

The bionics path is ideal as an extracurricular place of learning, where bionics topics can be experienced in a playful way in the middle of nature. On the bionics path website you will find in-depth information, working materials and quizzes or do-it-yourself experiments especially for schools and other groups.
