Alarm clock that shows Bible verses. Verse narration as an alarm sound option!

Bible Clock is a simple & lightweight alarm clock app that will show you a random verse from the Holy Bible on the alarm screen.

The Bible verse is chosen randomly on every alarm.

This app includes several Bible translations. You can switch between Bibles in the app settings.

The app will pick random Bible verses from both the Old & New Testament by default, and you can change this in the app settings too.

- Option to choose between: both Old & New Testament, New Testament Only, or Old Testament only,

*To use verse narration, we recommend having Google Text-to-speech installed and configured on your device.

You can then download voices & configure the voice (e.g. accent, speed, and so on) within Google Text-to-speech settings, which then will be used by this alarm app.

Bible translations that are included in this app are:

- American Standard Version (ASV)

- King James Version (KJV) also known as Authorized Version (AV)

- World English Bible (WEB)

For our Catholic friends, we have also included a World English Bible Catholic edition in the app, simply go to Settings to switch between Bibles.

Important Note:

While we have tested this app on our devices, we recommend you to test it on your device as well to make sure it runs reliably and smoothly, so you can be assured you can actually rely on it.

Permission details:

- Storage: to be able to use custom audio/music files, on Android Marshmallow and above, this is turned off by default, and we will only ask you to grant the access if it's really needed

- Run at startup: to continue functioning after a device reboot, without requiring you to relaunch the app first

- Prevent phone from sleeping: to keep screen turned on during an alarm

- Control vibration: to vibrate the phone when vibration is turned on in an alarm

- Network/internet access & connection: for Google's Firebase Analytics, and AdMob
