- Improved ocean background reduces lag when zooming in on the map, which can also be made more or less detailed in the "Display" options. After extended play, this issue can also be resolved by closing the game and booting it back up.
- Blocking by taunting is as effective as the real thing.
- Units are automatically equipped less often, placing a greater emphasis on leaving each battle with the weapons they need.
- Fewer rockets before running out of ammo.
