Augmented Reality for 3D CAD models

CAD Schroer offers companies the opportunity to experience Augmented Reality (AR) live using 3D CAD models from mechanical and plant engineering. With AR, virtual 3D models are placed into the real world. Models can be positioned, rotated, animated and viewed full-size in their intended real-world location; they can also be scaled if required. The app includes a selection of example machinery models which enable companies to assess the benefits of using AR to present their own products in an innovative and modern way.

CAD Schroer Apps can be extended to include a company's own CAD models, and be made available for access by its sales team or customers. This allows all types of products to be presented live at any location, no matter how large or how complex they are. Animations and additional information, such as texts, videos or web links, can be added to round off the experience and encourage users to take action.
