Mahmood Hassan of London established Ambala Arain Family to help promote mutual interaction, educate and develop the capacity of Ambala Arain Family members in such a way that they are better able to meet their needs and to participate more fully in the society.

Since our inception in 2007, alhamdullilah, we have established Ambala Arain Family as one of the biggest family set-ups in the world. We now have 53,000 relatives on our online family tree, 16,000 in our family facebook group, we have mobilised our entire family, our annual family reunion attracts nearly 5,000 family members, more than 3,000 volunteers are involved in various aspects of our work, our MatchMaking team has arranged 500 rishtas and 700 are in the pipeline and our welfare work is touching the lives of 1,000s, both inside and outside the family.
