Agrigenius Tomato GO is the BASF app to manage processing tomato field remotely

Agrigenius Tomato is a decision support system launched by BASF in colaboration with Horta. Using sensors in the field and various sources of information, Agrigenius collects complex data and processes them into warnings and advice information useful for the main agronomical tasks associate to processing tomato cultivation.

Constant remote monitoring offers farmers and specialized technicians the opportunity to improve their decision-making processes on crop management, whatever the characteristics of the tomato field. To meet the needs of all farmers and technicians, Agrigenius Tomato is distributed in two different solutions, a web version (Agrigenius Tomato PRO) with a monitoring and data collection system in the field and accurate forecasting models, and a web app optimized for smartphones and tablet (Agrigenius Tomato GO). The Agrigenius GO app was developed for smart use and simplified consultance.

Connected to agro-meteorological stations or based on satellite data, the webapp provides synthetic information, in the form of risk indices, on the development of problems caused by fungal pathogens, harmful insects, water stress and berry rot. With Agrigenius GO you can take advantage of a fertilization plan. Thanks to the registration fo treatments and monitoring activities in Agrigenius Tomato it is possible to keep track of all the operations carried out in the field and program irrigation activities.
