A Moveable Feast - a book of memoirs of the American writer Ernest Hemingway about his life in Paris. The book describes the first literary experiences of the young writer and his life with his first wife Hadley in the 1920s.

In addition to autobiographical notes, the book A Moveable Feast contains portraits of writers such as: Aleister Crowley, Ezra Pound, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, Ford Madox Ford, Hilar Bellock, Jules Pasquin, Dos Passos, Percy Lewis, James Joyce and Gertrude Stein.

In Russian, the book A Moveable Feast was translated by a team of translators M. Brook, L. Petrov and F. Rosenthal. A new translation was made in 2012 by Victor Golyshev. Hemingway went to Europe by a foreign correspondent for the Toronto Star newspaper. He settled in Paris and there, encouraged by Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound and others, decided to become a writer.

In 1956, Hemingway found a suitcase, which he left in the basement of the Ritz Hotel in Paris many years ago. In the suitcase was a notebook in which he kept notes about his life in Paris. He processed and copied these notes. While working on the book "Dangerous Summer", Hemingway used these notes in the final part of the draft of the book.

The book A Moveable Feast was created after the writer's death from these notes by his fourth wife and widow Mary Welch Hemingway. The materials were edited and published in 1964.
