4zeroPlast aims to increase the competences of the Managers of the Plastic Industry SMEs on the applicability of Industry 4.0 in their businesses through an innovative program.

The European plastics industry is at the beginning of a new industrial revolution, “Industry 4.0”, which will force the sector to make rapid changes in the design, manufacture, operation and service of manufacturing systems and products.

For a successful adaptation to the Industry 4.0 framework, Plastics Industry Managers must evaluate its impact on their companies, adapt their Business Model and develop a Medium-term Strategic Innovation Plan for the implementation of appropriate and applicable innovations.
