[Story of Toriko]

The world is a "gourmet era" where "gourmet food" has become a global trend.

The world is full of unknown ingredients, and it is not uncommon for a single ingredient to cost billions of dollars.

Through the international gourmet organization IGO, the young head chef of a hotel gourmet, Komatsu, explores unexplored tastes and asks the gourmet restaurant Toriko, who dreams of completing his own "full course of life", to capture a crocodile. Komatsu, who accompanied Toriko on his hunt, was impressed by his appearance, and after that he decided to accompany Toriko and his companions, the gourmet four heavenly kings, on their hunts. However, they are attacked by ferocious beasts that inhabit dangerous unexplored regions, and by the Gourmet Society, an organization that opposes IGO, aiming to monopolize ingredients from all over the world, and a fierce battle unfolds over the desired ingredients.

IGO chairman Ichiryu adapts to the harsh environment of the gourmet world in Toriko in order to prevent the war that will occur due to the scramble for GOD, as the awakening of the full course of the gourmet god Acacia, including the legendary ingredient GOD that sleeps in the gourmet world, is approaching. Request the capture of seven ingredients as a training to do. Toriko captures these ingredients with the four heavenly kings and Komatsu and others, and acquires the ability to adapt to the gourmet world.

The battle between the IGO and the gastronomic association continues to intensify, and at the end of the battle, Toriko is unable to fight, Komatsu is kidnapped by the gastronomic association, and Ichiryu is defeated by the gastronomic association's boss, Santora. The human world was destroyed by the Meteor Spice released by Santora. The Gourmet Era is coming to an end, and the IGO and Gourmet Society are also hit hard by the appearance of the third power, NEO.

After the battle is over, the resurrected Toriko enters the gourmet world alone and takes Komatsu back from the gourmet party for a year and a half. And in order to revive Ichiryu's infinitely edible ingredient Billion Bird and restore the gourmet age, Toriko and his friends set off on a full-scale trip to the gourmet world in search of a full-course meal of Acacia.
