If any of the nine target balls is pocketed, play (turn) is continued and foul, or if none of the target balls are pocketed, the turn is changed.

The player who pockets the 9th ball wins the game.

(If the 9th ball is pocketed on the break shot, the first player wins the game at that point.)

[Eight ball]

No matter which target ball is pocketed on the break shot, the group ball is not determined.

If the first player makes a break shot and the target ball is pocketed, the player continues to play (turn) and fouls, or if no target ball is pocketed, the turn is changed.

The group ball is determined by the first ball pocketed after the break shot.

Until the group is decided, you can aim at any target ball other than the 8th ball.

After deciding the group ball, aim for your own group ball.

The number does not matter in the order of hitting or pocketing. For example, if you choose low ball, you can pocket 7 balls suddenly.

If you pocket your group ball, you can continue to play.

If you can't pocket, your turn will move to your opponent.

If you pocket your group ball, you will continue to play (turn) and foul, and if your group's target ball is not pocketed, you will change your turn.

You win if you pocket the 8th ball after pocketing all your group balls.

However, the last 8th ball must specify the pocket to drop before the shot.

[Cut ball]

The ball held by each player is randomly determined.

If the first player makes a break shot and the target ball is pocketed, the play continues, and if the foul or no target ball is pocketed, the turn is changed.

Regardless of the order of the numbers, the ball is pocketed, and the player whose ball is left on the table until the end wins.

It is safe to pocket your own ball, but you will be defeated when all your balls have fallen.

In cut balls, unlike nine-balls and eight-balls, three fouls do not result in a defeat.
