‍Than Shawwāl (Arabic: شوّال‎) is the tenth month of the lunar Islamic calendar.

শাওয়াল মাসের আমল ও ফজিলত। শাওয়াল মাসের ছয় রোজার গুরুত্ব ও ফজিলত নিয়ে আমাদের এই অ্যাপলিকেশন। শাওয়াল (আরবী: شوّال ) ইসলামি বর্ষপঞ্জির দশম মাস। শাওয়ালের প্রথম দিনটি ঈদ-উল-ফিতর হিসেবে উদযাপিত হয়। ইসলামের প্রচলিত বিধান মতে, শাওয়াল মাসে ৬টি রোজার যথেষ্ট পূণ্য রয়েছে। তাই অনেক ধর্মপ্রাণ মুসলমানই রমজানের রোজা পালন শেষে, শাওয়াল মাসেও ছয়টি রোজা রেখে থাকেন অতিরিক্ত পূণ্যপ্রাপ্তির আশায়। তবে শাওয়াল মাসের প্রথম দিন অর্থাৎ ঈদ-উল-ফিতরের দিন রোজা রাখা ইসলামে নিষিদ্ধ, তাই ঐ দিন বাদে এই রোজাগুলো রাখার নিয়ম রয়েছে। রমজান মাসের রোজা এবং এই শাওয়াল মাসের ৬ টি রোজা করা হলে তা সারা রছরের রোজার রাখার সমতুল্য ধরা হয়। রমজান মাসের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আমাল সিয়াম শেষ করা এবং শ্ববেকদর শেষ হওয়ার পর এই আমল অত্যন্ত্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। শাওয়াল মাসের আমল করা আমাদের জন্য খুবই প্রয়োজন। আশাকরি আপনাদের আমাদের এই অ্যাপটি অবশ্যই ভালো লাগবে। শাওয়াল মাসের রোজা।

Shawwāl means to 'lift or carry'; so named because a female camel normally would be carrying a fetus at this time of year. The first day of Shawwāl is Eid al-Fitr. Some Muslims observe six days of fasting during Shawwāl beginning the day after Eid ul-Fitr since fasting is prohibited on this day. These six days of fasting together with the Ramadan fasts, are equivalent to fasting all year round. The reasoning behind this tradition is that a good deed in Islam is rewarded 10 times, hence fasting 30 days during Ramadan and 6 days during Shawwāl is equivalent to fasting the whole year in terms of reward.
