Application of a sermon lecture book about attending the lesson authored by the great ayatollah, the supreme religious authority, the guardian of the Muslims, the martyr Sayed Muhammad al-Sadr (may his secret be sanctified)

His Eminence was born on Rabi` al-Awwal 17, 1362 - 3/23/1943, the day of the Prophet's birthday. He lived in the care of his maternal grandfather, the Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Reda Al Yassin (may God be pleased with him).

He married the daughter of his uncle, Sayyid Muhammad Jaafar al-Sadr, and had four children: (Mustafa, Muqtada, Mu’ammal, Murtada).

He has two daughters, who are wives of the sons of al-Hajjah, Sayyid Muhammad Kalantar.

Our master began the seminary study at an early age in the year (1373-1954), when he was baptized when he was (eleven years old).

He entered the Faculty of Jurisprudence (1379-1960) and graduated from it in (1383-1964) as part of the first batch of graduates of the Faculty of Jurisprudence.

Our Master rose to the ranks of the external research, so he attended the external research of the fundamentals of the martyr Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr, and he also attended the external research of the investigator Professor Al-Khoei (sanctified their secret).

His authorization:

He has certification from several sheikhs, the highest of which is from His Excellency Ayatollah Mulla Muhsin al-Tahrani, famous as (Agha Buzurk), the author of the book (Al-Dhari’a ila Tasanief al-Shia).

Ijtihad leave:

It was endorsed by ijtihad by his teacher, the martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (may his secret be sanctified) in the year (1396-1977) and his honorable age was 37 years, when it was agreed that the virtuous students asked Mr. Muhammad al-Sadr to discuss with them outside, and they asked Mr. Abu Jaafar about that, so he blessed them. He encouraged them to do so and mentioned to them the full eligibility of His Eminence Sayyid Muhammad al-Sadr.

Then, with payment and help from God, our master returned to deliver the study abroad years later, specifically in the year (1410-1990).

(He left (sanctified his secret) 67 authors - between a book and an encyclopedia in various chapters of jurisprudence, principles, interpretation of the Qur’an, history, philosophy, ethics and sociology)

In 1993, he confronted the general reference and led a major reform movement, one of the most important features of which was the revival of Friday prayers in Iraq. With his courage, the strength of his heart, his righteous approach, and his righteous and speaking authority, he inspired millions of believing youth.

The brutal Ba'ath authority could not bear a movement reference the size of the reference of the martyr Sadr and its mass depth, so it assassinated him and his two martyr sons (Mustafa and Mu'mal) on the fourth of Dhul Qi'dah 1419 AH corresponding to February 19, 1999 CE.
