Many comprehensive Qur’anic texts and others show the seriousness of words and speech in the religion of God Almighty and that they are numbered on those who say them, recorded on them, and that they are accountable for what they speak; Because speech is part of the total religion that a person is questioned about, and likewise there are many hadiths that prove the danger of speech and its impact on the religion of the servant as a reward or punishment. Among that is what was included by al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Ahmad from the hadith of Muadh ibn Jabal that he said: O Messenger of God! We are not blamed for what we speak? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: May your mother be bereft of you, Muadh! Will people be thrown into the fire on their faces - or on their noses - on the Day of Resurrection except for the harvest of their tongues?
