Abdul Fattah Al-Qadi (1325 AH - 1403 AH)

He is Abd al-Fattah ibn Abd al-Ghani ibn Muhammad al-Qadi, born in the city of Damanhour, the capital of the Buhaira Governorate in the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the 25th of Sha’ban in the year 1325 AH, corresponding to the 14th of October 1907 AD. He is an outstanding Egyptian scholar in the readings and its sciences and in the legal and Arabic sciences.

One of the best and best of Al-Azhar scholars, Ayat al-Adhar and Wahid al-Asr, has a fine manners and a mastery of discipline.

The translator memorized the Noble Qur’an in his town, the city of Damanhour, according to the late Sheikh Ali Ayyad, and praised it for the two virtuous sheikhs, Sheikh Mahmoud Muhammad Ghazal and Sheikh Mahmoud Muhammad Nasr Al-Din, and read the readings in his country, then moved to Cairo and studied at Al-Azhar until he obtained a license for the old specialty (equivalent to a doctorate). Currently) in the year 1355 AH, and he took many positions, including the head of the Readings Department of the College of Arabic Language in Al-Azhar at that time, and he was appointed as Inspector General of the Al-Azhar institutes, then as a general agent for the Al-Azhar institutes, then he moved to the Prophet’s city and participated in the establishment of the College of the Holy Qur’an at the Islamic University, and he headed the Readings Department. In it until his death in 1403 AH.

The Sheikh has been reading and teaching in the field of Qur’anic sciences since about (1355 AH), and generations of the people of the Qur’an have graduated from his hands, and from those who read to him in Medina: Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Qari and Dr. Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hudhaifi, Imam of the Two Holy Mosques, according to the narration of Hafs, and he read some of the Shatibiya to him And Sheikh Munir Ibn Muhammad al-Mudhaffar al-Tunisi, a college graduate, recited to him a complete recitation of the ten from the path of good publication, and among them, Sheikh Ibrahim al-Akhdar received the three readings complementing the ten from the path of al-Durra, and he recited a complete khutmah to him.

Among them in Egypt are: Dr. Musa Shaheen Lashin, Dr. Awad Allah Hegazy, Dr. Zakaria al-Bari, and others.
