The Collector of the Books of Muwaffaq Al-Din Ibn Qudamah Al-Maqdisi, may God have mercy on him, with some explanations of his books

Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Qudamah Al-Jamaili Al-Maqdisi, then Al-Dimashqi Al-Hanbali.

• A jurist and scholar of hadeeth born in Jama'il, a village in Jabal Nablus in Palestine. Then he went to Damascus, read the Qur’an, and heard a lot of hadith from his father, from Abu al-Makarim Ibn Hilal, and from Abu al-Maali bin Saber and others. Then he went to Baghdad with his cousin, Al-Hafiz Abd Al-Ghani, and heard from its scholars, then returned to Damascus. It was an argument in the Hanbali school.
