The virtues of seeking forgiveness

* Obedience to God Almighty.

* A reason for the forgiveness of sins: “I said, ask forgiveness of your Lord, for He is forgiving.” [Noah:100]

* Rain falling: “The sky sends rain upon you” [Noah: 11]

* Providing you with money and children: “And He provides you with money and children” [Noah: 12]

* Entering Paradise: “And He will make gardens for you” [Noah:12]

* Increasing strength in all its meanings: “And He increases you strength to your strength” [Hud: 522]

* Good enjoyment: “He will give you good enjoyment” [Hud:3]

Averting calamity: “And God would not torment them while they were asking for forgiveness.” [Al-Anfal: 33]

* The servants are most in need of seeking forgiveness, because they sin by night and by day, so if they seek forgiveness from God, God will forgive them.

* A reason for the descent of mercy: "If you do not seek forgiveness from God, perhaps you will be shown mercy." [An-Naml: 46].
