Interpretation of the Qur'an in the voice of Shaarawy

On the life of Sheikh Al Shaarawy:

Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawy is considered one of the most famous interpreters of the Holy Qur’an in the modern era. He interpreted it in simplified ways and is closer to the vernacular to reach the largest segment of Muslims throughout the Arab world. He memorized the Qur’an at the age of eleven, and at the same age he joined the Zagazig Institute of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

Mohamed Metwally El Shaarawy was born on April 15, 1911 in the village of Dakkadous, Mit Ghamr, Dakahlia Governorate in Egypt.

El Shaarawy died on June 17, 1998 at the age of 87.
