The Sheikh, the scholar, the scholar, the only ascetic, the pious, the gnostic, the supporter, Muhyi al-Din, the pole of Islam, the promoter of the people, the champion of the Sunnah, the suppressor of innovation, the foremost of the imams, Abu Muhammad Abd al-Qadir bin Abi Salih bin Abdullah al-Jili, may God bless him with His mercy and restore His blessings upon us and the Muslims, and gather us in his group, Amen:

Praise be to God, by whose praise every book is opened, by whose remembrance every speech is issued, by whose praise the people of bliss enjoy comfort in the abode of reward and reward, by whose name every disease is cured, by whom every distress and calamity is revealed. With the arts of discourse in different languages, and the answerer to the one who is in need of supplication, so to Him be praise for what He bestowed and bestowed, and to Him be thanks for what He bestowed and bestowed, and He clarified the argument and guidance, and His prayers be upon His chosen one and His Messenger, through whom guidance is from misguidance, Muhammad, his family, his companions, his brothers, the messengers, and the close angels, and peace be upon him.

So when I saw the sincerity of his desire to know the legal etiquette of duties, pillars, Sunnahs, and bodies, and to know the Maker, the Almighty, the Almighty, with the verses and signs, then to learn the exhortations of the Qur’an and the words of the Prophet in gatherings that we mention, and to know the morals of the righteous, we refer to them during the book, so that he will help him to follow the path of God Almighty. Compliance with his commands, and the end of his prohibitions, and I found him a sincere intention emanating from the revelations of the unseen in his answer to that, so I hastened with a smile, seeking reward, hoping for salvation on the Day of Judgment, to collect this book with the success of the Lord of lords inspiring the right thing, and I named it:
