Seyyed Ali Khamenei was born on April 20, 1969. He is a Muslim cleric, mujtahid, Shiite imitator and Friday prayer leader of Tehran, and the second leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Articles 107 and 110 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ali Khamenei is the highest official of the country and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Khamenei started school at the age of four. He then went to primary school and entered the seminary after completing his primary education. He also continued his classical education until the second year of high school. He received his seminary education in the seminaries of Mashhad, Najaf and Qom.
