A short guide to first aid for emergency action

A person may face difficult circumstances and situations that impose themselves suddenly and without warning, and when a person has sufficient knowledge and awareness of how to act in such circumstances and situations, this may save a person's life, God willing.

We hope, through this application, which is directed to all people, and paramedics in particular, to make you, my brother (sister), the reader, a conscious person, aware of the importance of good behavior in emergency situations, and confident of your ability to help others.

With regard to the contents of the application, it includes five main axes, which are:

1- Principles and basics of first aid:

It contains everything related to the basics, the duties of the paramedic and how to contact the emergency, attached to the emergency services numbers in various Arab countries.

2- First aid for different emergency cases:

Including fainting or loss of consciousness, respiratory and heart failure, suffocation, bleeding of all kinds, burns of all kinds, bone injuries from fractures and sprains, crises and attacks of some diseases such as diabetes and asthma, various poisonings, emergency childbirth and many cases that require immediate emergency intervention.

3- First aid techniques:

The techniques and skills adopted for intervention include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which is one of the most important techniques, in addition to the technique of opening the airway, forced removal techniques and many other techniques...

4- First aid kit and kit:

They are the various means used when first aiding a person in an emergency situation, and they are mostly simple and sometimes improvised tools, in addition to the contents of the first aid kit needed in every home, workplace, and in public institutions...

5- Various common mistakes when providing first aid:

There are many rumors and mistakes that can sometimes be fatal or exacerbate a person's injury and should be avoided.

All the information provided in this application has been reviewed and is identical with the new updates in the field of first aid and most of its sources are based on references of the American Heart Association, the International Red Cross and Crescent, and the European Council for Resuscitation...

But it should be noted that the contents of the application aim to increase awareness of first aid and do not in any way dispense with receiving training and taking a course in first aid by a specialized body in that.

On the other hand, it is not necessary to dispense with seeking medical attention in various emergency cases in order to receive the necessary treatment.
