A prayer for the patient to recover, a voice without the net

The benefits of sickness: It is a kindness and mercy from the Lord to the servant, so his Lord did not create him except to have mercy on him, not to torment him. The Almighty said: “What does God do with your punishment if you are thankful and secure, and he is afflicted with you?” 147

Visiting the sick and praying for his recovery is a Muslim’s right over his Muslim brother, and our Noble Messenger urged us to pray for the good for our brothers, and commanded us to visit them especially when sick, and the evidence for that is his saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: On his brother: to return the greetings, to exhale the sneezing, to answer the supplication, to treat the sick, and to follow the criminals. Muslim scholars have raised the degree of visiting the sick and praying for him to the point of being obligatory. Because God Almighty is near and answers our prayers, so we must not be stingy with our loved ones from our relatives and loved ones in praying for them to be healed, and to relieve their distress, which leads to an increase in love and interdependence between people, and to gain the approval of God Almighty and His Noble Messenger.
