From birth, as a lullaby, I listened to Iranian music, and it must have been influential. My father was familiar with the tones of Iranian music. He was also a Qur'an reciter, and he knew most of the tones. He was a retired teacher of education who taught the Qur'an to his students and taught Persian literature.

All of this has its place, the alleys of Neyshabur Gardens have a quality that makes people poets and artists.

I have a strange interest in percussion instruments

My mind has a rhythm and an interest in percussion; that's why I started playing the daf. I came to Tehran to learn the daf. I came once a week or two every week and at the same time I went to singing class

In 1981 and 1982, one of Master Shajarian's friends took me to him. After that, I went to Mr. Nourbakhsh. Before that, in Neishabour, for many years, I became a student of Mr. Reza Shakeri, who is one of the good rowdy students in Iran.

So far, I have presented 3 albums to the market, and we have presented 2 albums ourselves, and one of them was commissioned by the art department.

In 2009, after the death of my great master Parviz Meshkatian, I decided to take a period of silence and study to improve my artistic abilities and do something different, which led to the initial thinking of making the album Mah and Mahi.
