Abu Othman Amr bin Bahr bin Mahboub bin Fazara Al-Laithi Al-Kinani Al-Basri (159 AH - 255 AH) was an Arab writer who was one of the great imams of literature in the Abbasid era. With Al-Jahiz because of the protrusion of his eyes, he also worked as a beauty for Amr bin Qala’ Al-Kinani, and among his qualities was that he was sharp-witted, with steadfastness, rigor and the ability to speak, intuition and a good opinion. He was considered a role model for the originators and their imam in that era, just as Ibn al-Muqaffa was their imam in the first era.
