Ahmed Ibn Khalil Ibn Shaheen Ibn Ahmed Ibn Qubais

He was born in 1375 AH in Qena Governorate, Upper Egypt

Qualifications:

He enrolled in primary school and at the same time began memorizing the Qur’an and was able to memorize it in two years at the hands of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sayyed Kilani, may God have mercy on him. Before he finished the primary stage, his father moved to God’s mercy, but his ambition would not stop as he moved to Sohag Governorate and met there Sheikh Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Balini, who He read to him some parts of the Qur’an and gave him permission, and then he returned to his town

Then his sights turned to Cairo to complete what he had begun in his village, to meet Sheikh Sayyed Muhammad Abbas, may God have mercy on him, and read the Qur’an to him, and he also read to Sheikh Amer Sayyed Othman and many others.

He joined the Institute of Recitations at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and studied Tajweed for two years, followed by an automatic stage in recitations, which he spent three years of his life in. Then he completed the stage of specialization in recitations, which lasted for three years. With these studies, the Sheikh completed the sciences of the Qur’an scientifically and practically through his familiarity with the seven recitations, the ten minor recitations, and the ten major recitations. Through his studies, he benefited from a large number of prominent scholars, such as Sheikh Hassan Al-Halawani, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Atl, Sheikh Abdul Raouf Berri, Abdul Rahman Al-Bari, and Sheikh Ahmed Mustafa Hasno.

His works and positions:

He worked and continues to work as a teacher in schools of interpretation of the Holy Qur’an in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to his work in the Holy Qur’an circles in mosques after the afternoon prayer, as well as working in the Charitable Center for Qur’anic Sciences affiliated with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, as well as his participation in teachers’ courses held by the Ministry of Education. He participated in supervising several Qur’anic competitions, such as the Prince Salman Competition for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an, the National Guard Competition, and the Education Department Competition in Riyadh, in addition to his contribution to many special scientific seminars in the field of the Qur’an and its sciences at home and abroad.

He recorded the entire recited Qur’an for the Holy Qur’an Radio from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
