A valuable book in which al-Suyooti collected a number of sciences, branches and characteristics related to the Holy Quran

A valuable book whose author, the venerable Imam Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, collected various types of sciences, branches, and characteristics related to the Holy Qur’an, and arranged them into chapters, including the reasons and place of revelation, the Meccan and Medinan surahs, linguistic reports in the Qur’an, the secrets of the order of the surahs and verses, the frequent ones, the odd ones, the odd ones, the narrators and the memorizers, and what was revealed collectively. And what was revealed separately, and the first and last of what was revealed, and what was revealed in urban areas, and what was revealed in travel....and many other chapters.

The Imam says in the introduction to the book:

“...Then it dawned on me to extract types that had never been done before and to add tasks that had not been fully discussed, so I was inspired to write a book on this science and compile it, God Almighty willing. I will follow it, add to it its benefits, and organize in its path its pioneers, so that in the creation of this knowledge I will be the second of the two and the one in the collection of the scattered things. From it is like a thousand or two thousand and a destiner, the technician of interpretation and hadith in completing the divisions, two thousand, and when the light of his sleeves appeared and opened and his full moon rose and he appeared and called the call to prayer. He rose up in the morning and called his caller “Falāh.” I called it “al-tābīr” in the sciences of interpretation.”
