Supplication is a language: it is the request, and in Islamic law it is: The servant turns to his Lord in what he needs to reform his religion and worldly affairs.

God Almighty has commanded His servants to go to Him in their worldly needs in order to facilitate them, and in matters of their hostility to descend their hearts, accept their repentance, and free their necks from the Fire;

Supplication is an expression of an independent spiritual phenomenon that stems from the sense of the believer’s self in the greatness of those who resort to it, its servitude to it, and its need to relate to it.

On this basis, it is the closest ritual of faith to the Great Creator, and the common link between human beings and those who connect with them (i.e. common prayer among all religions).

The noble Prophet’s Sunnah included important principles of what the Prophet of Mercy (PBUH) used to call for, and his Lord delivered to him, and taught him to his companions and other believers, starting with his family.

The glorious Qur’an also cited many examples, some of which were narrated by the prophets and the righteous, others gave education to the believers, and a guide to them on what should be called the creator of the universe.

In the same vein, the imams and the righteous were woven, and many supplications and supplications were filled in their tongues, which were filled with spiritual experiences, meanings and human values, and social and religious concepts.

And supplication is a type of rapid acceptance of the worker who has dedicated himself for the sake of the Creator’s satisfaction, not the supplication of dependency and dreams, and left perseverance. This is the approach of the prophets, the imams and the righteous who are committed to supplication, and they find in the legitimate matters of life to pay the harm and bring the benefit that one of the ways to pray was.
