Phonetics is a branch of science in the Russian language, which studies the sounds of speech and the sound structure of the language.

The transcription of a word is written in square brackets; additional characters can be used in it. In Russian, the transcription is based on the signs of the Russian alphabet, with the exception of the signs - ъ, ь, e, ё, yu, i in transcription they are used as letters.
