The Center for the Protection of Media Rights is launching a mobile application - a legal guide for journalists.

The handbook is a brief guide to the legal safety of journalists and media editors, contains answers to typical legal questions that journalists have, and also provides access to the necessary excerpts from media legislation. The directory includes all the main questions, from the basic rights and responsibilities of a journalist, to where a journalist can take photographs without permission, what libel is, how to identify extremism in a text, etc.

The convenience of working with the directory lies not only in its mobile format, but also in its clear structure, accessible language, the presence of a hotline through which you can send a question to media lawyers and receive an individual answer, and of course, the possibility of offline access to information.

The application's information base is constantly updated and its updates become available when connected to the Internet.

The database will be constantly updated by the legal service of the Center for the Protection of Media Rights. In addition to general questions, answers to the most frequently asked questions from users will be posted.
