Pension reform in Russia. Is it good or bad? There is no unequivocal answer. The issue of raising the retirement age in Russia raises many disputes and disagreements, someone believes that the bill on raising the retirement age is undoubtedly beneficial for the economy and development of the country as a whole, and someone considers it another step to inflate the capital of the pension fund at the expense of those, who before this pension will not live or will not use in due volume. After all, the new bill provides for a gradual increase in the age of retirement from old age from the current 60 to 65 for men and from 55 to 63 for women. Attempts to reanimate the old structure of the Russian pension system (including the adoption in 2013 of new laws on insurance and funded pensions that came into force on January 1, 2015) failed primarily because of a new wave of financial and economic crisis and the fall of world prices for oil, the consequences of which the Government managed to stabilize only by 2017 - including at the expense of unpopular among the population budgetary savings on social items of expenditure (freezing of pension savings, cancellation of pension indexation of works pensioners, the indexation of pensions in 2016 is lower than last year's inflation, etc.).

The changes discussed now will radically affect all the main components of the pension system. Of the main issues that will be addressed during this reform, we can note the following:

1. Raising the retirement age.

2. The introduction of a voluntary funded system (by abolishing the current funded pension and replacing it with individual pension capital - PKI).

3. Changes in the rules for the payment of the funded part of the pension (NPP) for those to whom it will be appointed in 2019.

4. Cancellation of pension scores (the pension system)

5. Enhancing the role of corporate pensions in the level of pension provision for Russians.

6. Adjustment of the early retirement system.
